Trick or Treat!
Good Evening!
Life is a little busy in my house right now, but I wanted to stop and share a project with you anyway!
I used the Cricut Mini Monsters cartridge for the card as well as the cat. I'm not really into all of the scary Halloween stuff so this is about as "spooky" as I get.
The stamp set I used is from Hero Arts and it's called Happy Halloween. It's wonderful because it has a TON of Halloween sentiments in it! Love it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

Have a Hoot!
Good Morning!
I am finally back to crafting! I am LOVING my new room! It makes the whole process SO much easier!
For this card I used the Cricut Create a Critter cartridge for that ADORABLE owl! I absolutely LOVE how easy the cuts from this cart are to assemble!
The paper is from October Afternoon's Thrift Shop 8x8 paper pad.
The ribbon is American Crafts.
The adorable Have a Hoot! sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Acrylic Stamps. Here is the image of the full set:
I really love this set because it works so well with many of the Cricut cartridges. They also have several other adorable sets for sale on their website HERE. Their customer service is amazing too!
Well that's about all for today.
Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day!!

We Will Never Forget...
In my thoughts and prayers today, are all those who were affected by the 9/11 terror attacks. Please know that you and your loved ones are not forgotten. You are all hero's in my eyes and your sacrifices have not gone unnoticed.
To all of those who give of themselves to serve our country every day - the words "Thank You" just don't seem to be enough. I am so thankful for your sacrifice and bravery.
God Bless America!

Create a Critter Baby Card...
Good Morning!
I am having way too much fun with this Create a Critter cartridge! I may never use the rest of my carts again! (I'm kidding!)
This card was so very easy! I used some scraps from the DCWV Nana's Nursery stack for the background and the stamp is from Stampin Up!
I sat down and made a few different animals at about 3 1/2" and put them all together. The next evening I came back and went through my paper and designed the card. For me, this works best because when I make a card, I like to have all of my supplies ready to go.
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a GREAT day!

Here is a little bit of the press release if you would like to know the details:
"(South Jordan, UT, St. Petersburg, FL, New York, NY – July 13, 2010) – Leading multi-channel retailer HSN and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia today announced the debut of Martha Stewart live at HSN on July 19. The business impresario and lifestyle icon will bring her expertise to HSN during a special series of shows showcasing Martha Stewart Crafts™ products.
During her appearance, Martha will also introduce the Cricut Cake® Martha Stewart Crafts™ Edition, an easy-to-use, cake decorating machine and electronic cutter that precisely cuts gum paste, frosting sheets, and much more. Developed by the creative innovators at Provo Craft, the new machine, which is co-branded with Cricut Cake and Martha Stewart Crafts brands and comes with unique Martha Stewart-designed cartridges, will launch exclusively on HSN.
“Our Martha Stewart Crafts line is so innovative, that we have decided to partner with HSN to provide consumers with a new set of tools that will forever change the way they craft and create,” said Martha Stewart, founder, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. “In addition, our new Martha Stewart Crafts Edition Cricut Cake machine will enable home cooks to transform the things they bake into works of art and wonder. I look forward to July 19 when we will present our unique products on HSN.”
“We are thrilled to develop a long term partnership with a lifestyle icon like Martha Stewart who is an inspiration to fans everywhere,” said Mindy Grossman, CEO of HSN, Inc. “We are confident Martha’s innovative products will resonate with a growing number of HSN customers who look to us as a crafting destination.”
“We’re very happy to be partnering with Martha Stewart,” said Jim Thornton, CEO of Provo Craft. “Together, we’ve paired the successful Cricut Cake technology with Martha Stewart’s revered style and design. Our goal is to remove the challenges that keep people from being creative, and we’ve done just that with our Cricut Cake Martha Stewart Crafts Edition. We can’t wait to see what people will make once they have it in their hands.”
The new Cricut Cake Martha Stewart Crafts Edition gives everyday decorators, as well as professionals, the ability to create edible masterpieces such as elegant wedding cakes, charming birthday cakes, and themed cookies or cupcakes for any occasion. The machine saves time cutting unique shapes, designs, and fonts from sheets of gum paste, fondant, cookie dough and other edible materials that would otherwise take hours with various individual cutters. Cricut cartridges with creative new designs from Martha and her team are available exclusively for purchase during the launch on HSN.
Fans can sign up for when-to-watch emails and learn more about Martha Stewart’s upcoming HSN debut at www.hsn.com, key word: Martha Stewart."

Martha Stewart Scoreboard - Project Dimensions Chart
I recently purchased the Martha Stewart Scoreboard and I really like. However, I did not like the fact that the project dimensions were inside the bone folder compartment - on top of the lid where you couldn't possibly read them while working on a project.
Well, I have a solution. I have created a PDF file of the project dimensions that you can simply print, cut and tape to your Scoreboard. Also, for those of you who don't like to read the tiny print, I have created a full page reference with the same info.
Download the files HERE.
If you have any issues with the downloads, please send me an email at cwarnke@sbcglobal.net and i would be happy to send the files to you.

Sunny Days Layout
I wanted to share a layout that I made for the My Pink Designer call. I was not chosen as one of her designers, so I'm hoping its now okay to post my project :)
For this layout I used:
Once Upon a Princess for the doll.
Peachy Keen Stamps Princess Face Assortment for her face.
Cricut Plantain Schoolbook cartridge for the waves
Cricut Create a Critter for everything else.
I have to say that I was really surprised at how many different cuts are on the Create a Critter cartridge. It has quickly become one of my favorite cartridges!

Peachy Keen Challenge Card
Okay so on to the crafty stuff :)
I created this card for the Peachy Keen Challenge on their blog. I have recently fallen in love with their cute little face stamps! I use my Paper Doll and Princess Cricut cartridges SO much more now that I don't have to worry about drawing the faces on them!
For this card I used:
Peachy Keen Princess Face Assortment
Once Upon a Princess Cricut Cartridge
Hero Arts Cloud background Stamp
Paper from DCWV's Citrus stack
The sentiment is computer generated.

More Disney Pages!
March 09, 2010
Disney Pages...
Here are a couple of the pages. I will share more in the next couple of days!
For the Cars page, I cut Mater and the logo from the Cars Cricut Cartridge. The font used on the journaling is Walt Disney Script, which is a free font that you can find if you "Google" search it.
On the Animal Kingdom Page, I used the Cricut Plantain Schoolbook cartridge for the grass. The tree and elephants were cut with SCAL from the actual Animal Kingdom logo. I am not sure which font I used for the "on safari" sorry :(
The album size is 8x8 in case you were wondering :)

Happy Valentines Day!
I just wanted to quickly share a few projects that i made for Valentine's Day! The first are for my daughter's classmates at school. I created this card, envelope and treat bag for all of the girls in her class. For the treat bags I used the Forever Young and Doodletype Cricut Cartridges. I have to tell you that these little bags are SO easy to make!!
The card and envelope are from the Sentimentals Cricut cartridge and the Ariel die cut is from the Dreams Come True cartridge.
Next are the gifts that I made for the teachers at my daughters school.
The card, envelope and owl are all from the Sentimentals Cricut cartridge. I love that owl!!
The candy wrappers are just patterned paper and a scallop circle punch - so easy!!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you all had a wonderful Valentines Day!

Happy Birthday Mom!
Today is my mom's birthday! She turns 50 this year, although I don't think anyone would guess that as her age :) I think she still looks 35 and I hope that I age even half as well!
So today I wanted to share with you the card and envelope that I made for my mom for her birthday!I used the Cricut Sentimentals cartridge for both the card and envelope. The numbers are from the Hannah Montana cartridge and the Mom on the front of the envelope is from the Mother's Day cartridge.
I had a lot of fun making this card, and LOVED using my Gypsy so that I didn't have to switch cartridges 3 times!!
The paper is from an SEI stack that I picked up at Michael's for a whopping $4!!

Toad-ally Awesome!
I created this little Valentine card for my daughter's friends at school. I used the Cricut Paisley cartridge for the adorable frog - I just love him! I even added some Stickles for a little "bling". I am going to use my computer to print the wording for the inside and it will say: "You Are Toad-ally Awesome".
These were super easy to make! I put together 6 in about a half hour and that included cutting time!
Have a WONDERFUL day!

Happy New Year!!
I hope that you have a safe and Happy New Year! It looks like we will be snowed in here today so I will probably have a project or two to post by tomorrow!
For the new year I really want to become a more faithful poster to my blog. Finding the time to craft has become difficult for me in past months, but I intend to change that by using what free time I have more wisely.
Thank you for continuing to check out my blog and my projects! I wish you and your families the very best for the New Year!
Have a WONDERFUL day!
:) Candice
